Daniel Gilbert’s “Reporting Live From Tomorrow” is a reading based on his belief that information spread by super-replicators is inaccurate and is used for propaganda purposes. Gilbert applies his knowledge to the information he shares using arguments to his beliefs such as examples and facts. Gilbert’s use of real life studies give a reason for the reader to agree with him and see his perspective. The facts that support his evidence help support his beliefs as well. Through these arguments Gilbert tries to inform the reader that super-replicators are manipulative and explain why society believes super-replicators anyway.

(I’m not sure if I used my thesis statement correctly or if the sentence is a thesis statement to begin with. I think I used the topic sentences correctly.)

  3. All of your sentence structure is very good! You might want to consider introducing the work (like you have done in topic sentence one) in the thesis statement.
